Dear Bradshaw,

Quartiere Coppedè is a cluster of buildings with enchanting facades. The buildings look like something Merlin might have pulled out of his hat or, perhaps, like the palace of an ancient king. The structures could be called fairytale cathedrals or Lego Land for adults. Every inch hooks the eye, every ledge attracts attention, every angle commands consideration. Its jutting edges, curling cornices, and serrated railings are a visual extravaganza, ornamented by marble bees, roaring-headed lions, or murals of horses and riders.
